Ramli Din is new federal narcotics CID chief


SARAWAK police commissioner Ramli Din will assume the post of Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director on March 2, in a reshuffle announced by the police force today.

The force’s corporate communications head Asmawati Ahmad said in a statement that Terengganu police chief Aidi Ismail will take over as acting Sarawak police commissioner.

Penang deputy police chief Roslee Chik will take over Aidi’s position while Bukit Aman’s Logistics and Technology Department deputy director III Abd Razak Elias will take over as acting Penang deputy police chief.

In addition, Bukit Aman Commercial CID deputy director Saiful Azly Kamaruddin will be appointed acting commissioner of police.

Bukit Aman Integrity and Compliance Department deputy director (Integrity) Azri Ahmad will be the Internal Security and Public Order Department acting deputy director while Terengganu deputy police chief Allaudeen Abdul Majid will replace Azri as the Integrity and Compliance Department (Integrity) deputy director.

In addition, Internal Security and Public Order Department (General Policing) SAC Idris Abdullah will move to the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department as its acting deputy director.

Bukit Aman CID Prosecution and Law Division (D5) principal assistant director SAC Mior Faridalathrash Wahid will assume the CID deputy director position while Kuala Lumpur CID chief Rusdi Mohd Isa will take over from Mior Faridalathrash. – Bernama, February 1, 2020.
