Khairuddin’s suit against Khalid, Apandi to be heard in June

THE hearing of Khairuddin Abu Hassan’s suit against former inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar, former attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali and six others over his detention and charges under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma) has been set for four days, starting June 1.

Kuala Lumpur High Court judicial commissioner Quay Chew Soon set the date in chambers in the presence of lawyer Irzan Iswat Mohd Nor, representing the politician, and senior federal counsel Mohd Ashraf Abd Hamid, appearing for the eight defendants.
