Ministry to cut red tape in bid to propel SME growth

THE Entrepreneur Development Ministry is trying to minimise bureaucracy involving the development of small and medium enterprises (SME) to enable them to contribute 41% to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) this year.

Its minister, Mohd Redzuan Yusof, said this was among the major challenges of the ministry in line with policies outlined in the National Entrepreneurship Policy 2030 (DKN2030).
