THE price of all fuels will remain unchanged in the coming week.

The Finance Ministry in a statement today said the price of fuels calculated using the automatic pricing mechanism are RM2.08 per litre for RON95 petrol, RM2.64 for RON97 petrol and RM2.18 for diesel.

The ministry said the unsubsidised price of RON95 should be RM2.34 a litre while diesel should be RM2.32, but their retail prices have been set by the cabinet for the wellbeing of the people.   

“With the maintenance of the retail price of these two fuels, the government’s subsidy bill is estimated at RM111.44 million for the period between December 14 and 20,” the ministry added. – December 13, 2019.
