World Bank lauds balanced Budget 2020

BUDGET 2020 strikes a prudent balance between the competing needs for Malaysia to preserve its fiscal sustainability, and at the same time, responds to the realities of a slowing economic environment, said the World Bank.

  • Ministry to finance also needs to tackle the problem where SME's transfer their profits to Singapore so that they enjoy lower taxes but at the same time benefit from all the tax incentives given to them.
