THE woman at the centre of allegations that she had an affair with a senior graft-buster has come out to say she that she will accept the blame but will not reveal the real reason behind her divorce.
The woman said she had been under pressure to clear her name after a three-minute video implicating her and a senior Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officer in an extra-marital affair had gone viral on social media recently.
“A lot of people have advised me to reveal the real reason behind my divorce, whether it was true that it was because of the scandal with (the senior MACC officer).
“It is sufficient that my ex-husband, our parents and I know the reason I filed for divorce in court.
“Let the whole world blame me. For me to step forward and do an expose is not feasible as it would only worsen the situation and hurt more parties,” she wrote in a public post on Facebook.
The video in question showed several pictures of the woman with whom the MACC man allegedly had an affair.
Several images featured her with her family, including two young children.
The video included several old clips of the senior MACC officer.
In one clip, the officer spoke about men and women who swayed from their faith, and those who failed to repent. Another clip showed the officer reciting a poem on integrity.
Questions and remarks directed at the officer were inserted between the clips and pictures, such as, “How could you destroy this family?” and “Don’t you pity the children?”.
The author of the clip claimed that the woman and her husband had divorced on September 28 at the Ulu Klang lower shariah court because of the alleged affair.
On Tuesday, the couple criticised those using their divorce to make the allegation for dragging their children into it.
The matter is now under police investigation.
In her latest Facebook post, the woman also apologised to the senior MACC officer and his family.
“I can only pray that this painful episode will come to an end quickly,” she said.
The Malaysian Insight has contacted the MACC officer but has yet to receive a comment, but MACC had earlier denied the allegations.
Enticing a married woman is an offence in Malaysia under Section 498 of the Penal Code. The crime is punishable with two years’ jail, a fine or both.
The allegation comes as MACC is sweeping up politicians and high-ranking civil servants in corruption investigations. – October 15, 2017.

BN said it wants an Islamic state in Malaysia.
That's what PAS also wants.
IS stands for Islamic State which is based on true Islam.
IS, BN and PAS have the same objective based on pure bullshit.
