3.0-magnitude earthquake in Sabah


An earthquake at a depth of 10km was reported to have occurred 26km east of Kunak, Sabah, near midnight yesterday – The Malaysian Insight file pic, September 4, 2019.

A 3.0-MAGNITUDE earthquake was felt in the Kunak waters in Sabah yesterday at 11.48pm.

The Meteorological Department said in a statement today that the earthquake at a depth of 10km was reported to have occurred 26km east of Kunak, Sabah.

The quake did not pose a tsunami threat. – Bernama, September 4, 2019.
