ANWAR Ibrahim yesterday offered “proof” that PAS paid RM1.42 million to Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown as a settlement in a defamation suit against the whistle-blower site.

Speaking to a crowd of around 250 people last night at Semenyih, Anwar said the statements proved that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang paid a total of RM1.42 million to Rewcastle-Brown last month.

  • U mean Hadi telling lies all this while? With millions hanging around these PAS leaders, none of them can think straight .When they start taking this non halal, illegal or stolen money belong to the public, they betrayed the public. They no longer fit to be an islamic leader. Islam is super, noble and perfect, so anyone tainted with illegal activity will tarnish the Islamic image. Followers will be confused and distrust PAS, thus leaving PAS. This could be the beginning of the end of PAS.
