I AM not a comedian, Najib Razak said today of his daily Facebook posts attacking the Pakatan Harapan government.
“I just write facts on my Facebook account. They are not lies,” said the former prime minister after attending the Indian Progressive Front Ponggal celebration in Taman Bangi Jaya, Semenyih, today.
“Yes, there’s a bit of sarcasm and humour but Malaysians seem to like that,” he said when asked if he was trolling the Pakatan Harapan government with his daily posts on Twitter and Facebook.
“The posts are a mixture of sarcasm in a lighthearted way. There are no lies.”
Najib was responding to comments by Selangor Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari who called him a “joker”.
“At least, I have something to laugh (about). He’s become a joker and good luck to him. He has a new profession from being the prime minister,” said Amirudin on Friday.
He was commenting on Najib’s attempt to rebrand himself as the people’s champion with the slogan “Malu Apa Bossku”.
Ahead of his trial on Tuesday, Najib has been traversing the country using the slogan. At the Ponggal event today, he pasted a “Malu Apa Bossku” sticker onto a motorcycle. – February 10, 2019.
