PAS has warned that it will mobilise the people to take to the streets again if the Pakatan Harapan government tried to ratify the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD).

Its president, Abdul Hadi Awang, said PH must realise that that it captured Putrajaya with only a simple majority.

“If they dare, they should table the ICERD for debate in Parliament. As it is, they won with a simple majority.

“And if they dared to table the (ratification of) ICERD in Parliament, we will mobilise the people to take to the streets,” he said in his speech at the anti-ICERD rally today in Kuala Lumpur. – December 8, 2018.
