PASIR Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman can join PAS at any time to continue his political career, said PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan.
“Anyone can join PAS (including Tajuddin). We can and will accept them. In fact, PAS welcomed 12,000 new members, including new voters, during a recent programme in Kedah.”
The Kota Baru MP was commenting on Perak PAS’ offer for Tajuddin to contest on a PAS ticket in the 15th general election after being dropped from the Umno Supreme Council.
Tajuddin was appointed to the supreme council after failing to become a vice-president in party polls in 2018.
Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi last week said Tajuddin was axed due to his criticism of the party. – Bernama, June 27, 2022.
