Wan Azizah's Sarawak visit ‘inappropriate’, says committee member

PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail’s visit to Julau, Sarawak, yesterday was ”inappropriate and highly questionable” as it comes a week before party elections in the state, said central committee member Latheefa Koya.

“There is no conceivable reason why Wan Azizah’s visit must be carried out on the very eve of PKR’s party elections in Sarawak. Why couldn’t the deputy prime minister visit after the party elections?” Latheefa said in a statement today.

  • As the DPM, she should not be bias to any candidate standing for the elections. Here pre-mediated visit to Sarawak, and in particular Julau already poses a biased advantage to MP Larry Sng, and Rafizi Ramli. Wan Azizah is being unprofessional, lacks decorum and probably appears to be easily manipulated by other agenda-seeking groups.
Why the visit to Sarawak now? Why Julau in particular? Why the pledge for the RM100,000 road in Julau?
What is this woman doing? She should just look after the women, Children Affair ministry not go around doing her political stunts.
That reflects badly on Dr Wan Azizah and just shows her incapability as a politician & Minister

  • There is clearly one faction in PKR which believes that the abuse of state machinery, being compromised by the inappropriate use of private and state jets, and the kissing of hands are par for the course. This is a far cry from what we were promised and what we voted for. This faction is no different from UMNO.

  • Is a previous report (I CAME ACROSS somewhere) true that the DPM favoured Rafizi to be Finance Minister? Maybe just to bring him on board instead of being left out in the cold? Which would be a good thing, as he too played a role in Pakatan's GE14 victory with his Invoke think tank's various analyses? Everyone who can contribute positively is needed on board in New Malaysia. So many things to do/improve & not enough good people available to do it? Yes or No?..
